All Cobb Hoelzer Clayworks wares are handmade in Portland, Oregon in small batches, as such each piece will have slight variations in form and finish. Due to the nature of the hand building process, pieces are intentionally "imperfect" and not perfectly symmetrical. The hand painted glazing technique lends to variations in glaze application with visible brush strokes. This is part of the charm and aesthetic of handmade pottery.

CARAFE:

A conical shaped serving carafe for beverage service (think creamer for your coffee or for sake) or for drizzling dressings & sauces. An overlapping seam meets in a graceful diagonal line visible on both interior and exterior of the vessel.

Holds approximately 6oz & is 4.25" tall, 2.5" around at base, 2" around at top with spout.

Raw speckled buff clay on bottom, glaze on interior and upper part of outer surface.

TUMBLERS:

These little tumblers are sold in a set of 2 and are designed for sipping the tea, the wine, the whiskey, the sake & for the small handed littles (kids!) in your life.

Each tumbler holds approximately 4oz & is 3" tall, 2" circumference at base, 2.5" circumference across top.

The stoneware clay and non-toxic & lead free glazes are food, oven, dishwasher safe; although hand washing is recommended for more delicate wares.
Sustainability is key! I aim to be as plastic free and use recycled Kraft paper and biodegradable and/or recycled/recyclable packing material to ship all wares and paintings.

All wares and paintings are shipped via USPS Priority or UPS Standard. All ready to ship pieces are mailed on Thursdays and take 3-5 business days with in the US. Priority mail includes tracking and $50 insurance.

FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: if you place an order for international delivery you will be invoiced separately for shipping cost. Once payment is received from the buyer we will ship your order.

Although every effort is made to prevent damage during shipping it occasionally occurs. If your piece arrives damaged please notify me via email within 48 hours of delivery including a picture of the item & box. Due to the expiration of insurance claims we must be notified within the 48 hour time frame. Shipping cost will not be refunded however replacements and/or refunds of goods will be determined on an individual basis.
